Awesome fun place for family
Initially felt it was bit costly at just under $100 for 2 adults and 2 children, but once inside, realised how good the value was. We enjoyed mini golf, jeeps, bumper boats, and train as dry activities. Hydra slides and huge lazy river kept Mr 7 and 10 occupied for hours.
Two food outlets with very reasonably priced food, ice creams and drinks. Lots of play areas and shaded parts for picnics.
Many areas for toddlers and smaller children which also looked like lots of fun. Definitely allow a day for this one.

Awesome day out
We joined the queues 15mins before the park opened. Glad we did because the carpark filled very quickly after that. Once our prepaid tickets were scanned at the giftshop entrance, we walked in and had no trouble securing a table with an umbrella. Bags, picnic and other gear were then left there for the day, and locker was not required which was awesome. We had a group of 9, aged 4 - 60+. All had a great day there, lots to do. I wasn't sure how long we would stay, but the day went quickly and before we knew it, it was closing time.
I recommend starting on one of the fun outdoor slides first & flying into the pool at the end, instead of testing the water in the pool or lazy river! Easiest way to get over how cold the water is! Enjoyed the slide with the inflatable tubes most.
Queues for the rides were slow, queues for the slides moved quickly. The indoor Master Blaster slide was great too - much better with the mat. Indoor pool & slide is heated but was packed today.
Loved that you can take your own picnic lunch in. Lots of non-water activities too including multiple playgrounds, flying fox, train rides, mini golf, tiny town for toddlers, go karts and 4x4 rides.
On a hot day, a great place! We all had so much fun and look forward to coming again next Summer with more family & friends. Well worth the drive up from Wellington on a hot day if you get there early.
