Tiny Town, Jungle Adventures Playground, Scented Garden, Fantasyland Express, Merry-Go-Round, Jungle Jeeps, and Wonderland Mini Golf will all be open. Coffee Bean Café will be serving barista coffee, along with a selection of snacks and treats. A party room will be available to book for birthdays and other celebrations. All the information is here.
$2 entry fee to access the park (includes Tiny Town, Jungle Adventures Playground, Scented Garden). Free entry for Hawke’s Bay Residents Members. Rides and mini golf will run on a token system, and all-inclusive passes will also be available if you prefer. More information is available here.
From 7 March to mid November the park will be open weekends only, 9am - 4pm, weather permitting.
The park closes at 6pm. Last guests must exit the park by 6pm.
Rides and slides close at 5.30pm. Queue management will be in place earlier to ensure those in the queue get to ride.
Height and weight restrictions are in place to ensure the safety of our customers. Height charts are situated at various rides.
Children must be able to swim confidently and aged 6+ to go on the outdoor slides and have a Child (6-13 yrs.) wristband.
All water slides have a minimum height of 120cm.
An adult can accompany a child on dry rides.
You are allowed to bring a picnic into Splash Planet, however no commercially prepared food. View further information on our Food & Drink page.
Due to safety regulations, glassware of any kind and sharp knives are prohibited.
Yes you can, on entry you are given a wristband which will allow you to exit and enter the park through the gift shop at your convenience.
The Double Dipper is the only slide that allows two people to ride at once. All riders must be 120cm+, and have a child or adult pass (no children aged 5 or under).
You can, however we do recommend the top to be of swimwear fabric i.e rash shirt. We sell rash shirts from our gift shop.
No. Due to safety regulations you can’t bring in your own cooking devices. We do not have BBQs available for hire.
Your children must be a minimum of 12 years old to be left unsupervised at the park.
Ratio's of adults to children at Splash Planet is as follows;
5 & Under - ONE adult to TWO 5 yr olds & under
8 & Under - ONE adult to FOUR 6-8 yr olds
Mix of ages - ONE adult to ONE 5 yr & under + THREE 6-8 yr olds
Children aged 6 to 13 can access the child price. Children aged 5 and under are free, and have limited access (Pools, Train, Merry Go Round and Golf ONLY). When booking online you do not need a ticket for children aged 5 and under.
5 & Under - Caregiver aged 16+ must be in the pool within arms reach.
8 & Under - Caregiver aged 16 must actively supervise and be ready to assist.
Ages 9 to 11 - Must be accompanied by a caregiver aged 16+.

If you live in Hawke’s Bay you are entitled to join our Hawke's Bay Residents Membership scheme which offers a discounted entry into the Park.
We have gift vouchers available to purchase during normal opening hours. These can be used for any date during regular open hours, capacity permitting. Vouchers are valid for three years from purchase.
They sure are! This really means everything – all the pools, rides and slides and don’t forget our mini-golf. If you don't want to swim or go on all dry rides you can purchase a spectator pass which includes access to Train, Toddler Pools and Merry Go-Round only.
Gift vouchers must be used before the expiry date.
We don't have swimwear to hire. You can purchase from our full range of swimwear, goggles and other items you might need for your day at our gift shop.
We want to ensure your day is not only memorable, but is as safe and accessible as possible. Guests with pre-existing medical conditions, injuries or disabilities are recommended to email us prior to visiting so we can ensure all needs are met. Please email info@splashplanet.co.nz.
Pricing for individuals with disability is based on park usage i.e. spectator or full admission. An additional ticket at the same ticket type is free of charge for one carer. Tickets must be booked in person, either drop in ahead of your visit or purchase on the day.
Splash Planet has a Mobi chair to assist anyone needing extra support to safely enter and exit the water at the Lazy River and Pirate Pool via the accessible ramps. For more information and to book the chair please click here.
Service dogs are welcome at the park. Most locations are accessible with the exception of some restricted areas around pools and rides. All service dogs must wear their vest identifying their role at all times.
No other dogs are permitted.
Our indoor pools are heated to about 29 degrees.
Yes! We have elockers available to hire. Digital wristbands are available at entry. $10 for a full day.
Securing your valuables and personal property is your own responsibility and we strongly recommend you secure your belongings in the lockers provided.
We only offer reserved areas for group booking 50+ subject to availability.
We have several shaded areas with shade cloths and umbrellas. There are numerous trees dotted around the park too. During our peak season, shading cannot be guaranteed and you are more than welcome to bring in your own umbrellas.
No. Admission includes full access to the park. The other option is a Spectator Pass which includes Train, Toddler Pools and Merry Go-Round only.
Splash Planet is open in rain showers. However, if the rain is very heavy or prolonged we may need to close due to health and safety issues.
Go-karts, Bumper Boats and Jungle Jeeps may close in rain showers. Other rides may close if required. Check with the team on your way in.
If you have pre-purchased tickets, you can request to move your visit date by contacting via info@splashplanet.co.nz before your date of visit. No refunds will be given.

Tickets can be purchased online or in person. In person tickets are available either on the day or in advance at The Gift Shop.
Tickets are date specific and are non-refundable. We also have gift vouchers available to purchase from the gift shop during park opening times.

Membership cards can be collected on your first visit or call in to the Gift Shop during opening times.
We don't have a family pass available.
Yes! A function room is available to book during our opening times. We’re also taking bookings for private functions or parties outside of regular hours.
