You can, however we do recommend the top to be of swimwear fabric i.e rash shirt. We do hire and sell rash shirts from our gift shop – otherwise you can get quite sun burnt.
Nope. Due to safety regulations you can’t bring in your own cooking devices, however the park does have BBQ’s for hire. See our BBQ bookings page.
We do allow bookings for these throughout the season.
Yes we do. If your group consists of 15 or more paying people we offer discounts. See our Group Bookings for more information.
If you live in Hawke’s Bay you are entitled to join our discounted family Club Card which offers a discounted entry into the Park.
Yes we do! Our gift vouchers are valid for two Summer seasons from the date of purchase and are ONLY available at the general admission pricing (not Club Card prices). You can purchase these from our buy tickets page.
They sure are! This really means everything – all the pools, rides and slides and don’t forget our mini-golf. If you want the pools and slides only, then check out our swim pass option. You can sue the filters on our attractions page for more details.
We do! We have a large range of adults/children togs, rash shirts and even towels if you forget yours. You can also purchase from our full range of swimwear at our gift shop.
We can to ensure your day is not only memorable, but is as safe and accessible as possible. Guests with pre-existing medical conditions, injuries or disabilities are recommended to speak to our friendly team on arrival prior to presenting to our slides and attractions. Our indoor pools are heated to about 29 degrees.
The Double Dipper is the only slide that allows two people to ride at once.
Yes! The lockers are coin operated and require a $2 coin each time you lock them. For example if you open and lock three times the cost is $6.
Securing your valuables and personal property is your own responsibility and we strongly recommend you secure your belongings in the lockers provided.
We only offer reserved areas uptill 24 December. During this time, reserved areas are subject to the size of your group and availability, and at the discretion of Splash Planet staff.
Areas are limited in the weekends and will be allocated by our bookings administrator prior to your arrival at the Park.
BBQ tables cannot be reserved.
We have several shaded areas with shade cloths and umbrellas. There are numerous trees dotted around the park too. During our peak season, shading cannot be guaranteed and you are more than welcome to bring in your own umbrellas.
Your children must be a minimum of 10 years old to be left unsupervised at the park. Children eight years and under must be actively supervised around the pools and slides.
Of course you can. All slides and pools are available when you purchase a swim pass. A swim pass also gives you unlimited rides on the Train and access to all of the play areas in the Park.
Splash Planet remains open rain or shine. In fact, if the weather isn’t great, you won’t have any queues and let’s be honest, you’re going to get wet anyway!
Yes! You can purchase a mini golf ticket at entry for $9 per person. This will give you one round of mini golf.
