You are allowed to bring a picnic into Splash Planet, however no commercially prepared food.  View further information on our Food & Drink page.

Due to safety regulations, glassware of any kind is prohibited.

Yes you can, on entry you are given a wristband which will allow you to exit and enter the park through the gift shop at your convenience.

You can, however we do recommend the top to be of swimwear fabric i.e rash shirt. We sell rash shirts from our gift shop – otherwise you can get quite sun burnt.

No. Due to safety regulations you can’t bring in your own cooking devices. We do not have BBQs available for hire.

Yes we do. If your group consists of 15 or more paying people we offer discounts. See our Group Bookings for more information.

If you live in Hawke’s Bay you are entitled to join our Hawke's Bay Residents Membership scheme which offers a discounted entry into the Park.

We don't sell gift vouchers. 

They sure are! This really means everything – all the pools, rides and slides and don’t forget our mini-golf. If you don't want to swim or go on all dry rides you can purchase a spectator pass which includes access to Train, Toddler Pools and Merry Go-Round only.

We don't have swimwear to hire. You can purchase from our full range of swimwear, goggles and other items you might need for your day at our gift shop.

We can to ensure your day is not only memorable, but is as safe and accessible as possible. Guests with pre-existing medical conditions, injuries or disabilities are recommended to speak to our friendly team on arrival prior to presenting to our slides and attractions. For more information please call 0508 SPLASH or +64 6 873 8033.

Our indoor pools are heated to about 29 degrees.

The Double Dipper is the only slide that allows two people to ride at once.

Yes! We have elockers available to hire for a full day or half day. Digital wristbands are available at entry. Half day $6, full day $10.

Securing your valuables and personal property is your own responsibility and we strongly recommend you secure your belongings in the lockers provided.

We only offer reserved areas up to 24 December. During this time, reserved areas are subject to the size of your group and availability, and at the discretion of Splash Planet staff.

Areas are limited in the weekends and will be allocated by our bookings administrator prior to your arrival at the Park.

We have several shaded areas with shade cloths and umbrellas. There are numerous trees dotted around the park too. During our peak season, shading cannot be guaranteed and you are more than welcome to bring in your own umbrellas.

Your children must be a minimum of 12 years old to be left unsupervised at the park. Children ten years and under must be actively supervised around the pools and slides.

No. Admission includes full access to the park. The other option is a Spectator Pass which includes Train, Toddler Pools and Merry Go-Round only.

Splash Planet is open in rain showers. However, if the rain is very heavy or prolonged we may need to close due to health and safety issues. Please contact us to be sure or follow us on Facebook.

Ratio's of adults to children at Splash Planet is as follows;
Under 12's must be accompanied by an adult
Under 8's - 1 adult to 2 children
Under 5's - 1 adults to 4 children
Mix of ages - 1 adult to 1 under 5 and 3 under 8.

Children aged 4 to 13 can access the child price. Children aged 3 and under are free. When booking online you do not need a ticket for children aged 3 and under.
