No. Due to safety regulations you can’t bring in your own cooking devices. We do not have BBQs available for hire.
Your children must be a minimum of 12 years old to be left unsupervised at the park.
Ratio's of adults to children at Splash Planet is as follows;
5 & Under - ONE adult to TWO 5 yr olds & under
8 & Under - ONE adult to FOUR 6-8 yr olds
Mix of ages - ONE adult to ONE 5 yr & under + THREE 6-8 yr olds
Children aged 4 to 13 can access the child price. Children aged 3 and under are free. When booking online you do not need a ticket for children aged 3 and under.
5 & Under - Caregiver aged 16+ must be in the pool within arms reach.
8 & Under - Caregiver aged 16 must actively supervise and be ready to assist.
Ages 9 to 11 - Must be accompanied by a caregiver aged 16+.

If you live in Hawke’s Bay you are entitled to join our Hawke's Bay Residents Membership scheme which offers a discounted entry into the Park.
We have gift vouchers available to purchase from The Gift Shop during normal opening hours. These can be used for any date, capacity permitting.
They sure are! This really means everything – all the pools, rides and slides and don’t forget our mini-golf. If you don't want to swim or go on all dry rides you can purchase a spectator pass which includes access to Train, Toddler Pools and Merry Go-Round only.

We don't have swimwear to hire. You can purchase from our full range of swimwear, goggles and other items you might need for your day at our gift shop.

Pricing for individuals with disability is based on park usage i.e. spectator or full admission. An additional ticket at the same ticket type is free of charge for one carer. Tickets must be booked in person, either drop in ahead of your visit or purchase on the day.
Our indoor pools are heated to about 29 degrees.
Yes! We have elockers available to hire. Digital wristbands are available at entry. $10 or a full day.
Securing your valuables and personal property is your own responsibility and we strongly recommend you secure your belongings in the lockers provided.
We only offer reserved areas for group booking 50+ subject to availability.
We have several shaded areas with shade cloths and umbrellas. There are numerous trees dotted around the park too. During our peak season, shading cannot be guaranteed and you are more than welcome to bring in your own umbrellas.
No. Admission includes full access to the park. The other option is a Spectator Pass which includes Train, Toddler Pools and Merry Go-Round only.
Splash Planet is open in rain showers. However, if the rain is very heavy or prolonged we may need to close due to health and safety issues.
Go-karts and Jungle Jeeps may close in rain showers.

Tickets can be purchased online or in person. In person tickets are available either on the day or in advance at The Gift Shop.
Tickets are date specific and are non-refundable. We also have gift vouchers available to purchase from the gift shop during park opening times.
